Description
Very nice shotgun here. Circa 1955, serial number 1490xxx. It features a 26" solid rib barrel with a mirror bore. The action is clean and slick as snot. The overall length is 45" with a 14 1/4" LOP. The glassy barrel is marked WS-1 and choked SKEET. The stock is pretty neutral, with perhaps the slightest cast off. This piece of art is in overall amazing condition. It is possible that it was professionally reworked, though I can't be sure. The front and rear halves are number matched, but the tone of the blue on the receiver is a touch glossier than the front. In any event, it's a beautiful example of what Winchester is known for; aesthetically pleasing scatter guns that can get the job done. $70 shipping to the lower 48, 3% surcharge for using a credit card.
